Description: If you are currently experiencing any of the following, please wait until the condition is fully resolved or cleared by a medical provider before booking a facial.
Active Cold Sores: Wait until the lesion is fully healed.
Contagious Infections (Impetigo, Ringworm, Pink Eye): Wait until the infection is completely cleared.
Open Wounds or Cuts: Wait until the skin is fully closed and healed.
Severe Sunburn: Wait until redness, heat, and tenderness are entirely gone.
Active Shingles or Fever/Illness: Please wait until you are fully recovered.
Recent Facial Surgery: Please wait until you have direct clearance from your medical provider.
Accutane (Isotretinoin): Advanced exfoliation must be avoided. Please consult your provider regarding the required wait period after stopping medication.

We can often modify your facial to accommodate these conditions, but specific wait times or adjustments apply.
Recent Waxing: Avoid exfoliation until skin is no longer sensitized.
Chemical Peels & Laser Treatments: Please wait until all peeling, irritation, or sensitivity has entirely subsided.
Botox or Fillers: Avoid massaging the treated areas until they have completely settled (ask your injector for their specific timeline, usually 2 weeks).
Topical Retinoids: Avoid strong exfoliation while the skin is actively sensitized.

Severe Acne (with open lesions), Rosacea, Eczema, or Psoriasis Flare-ups: We will modify your treatment to avoid affected areas, bypass heat/strong exfoliation, and use strictly calming products.
Pregnancy: We will swap out specific active ingredients and modalities to ensure a completely pregnancy-safe experience.
High Blood Pressure or Diabetes: We will avoid intense heat, stimulating massage, or aggressive exfoliation, and closely monitor skin sensitivity.
Metal Implants or Pacemakers: Electrical modalities will be avoided during your treatment.
